How do you get fuel to a diesel truck if it isnt getting any?

-I have a 6.9 Ford (1987) and it isn't getting any fuel and i have no idea how to get fuel to it.Ha, ok , no smart a** answer. Under the truck on drivers side about 2/3 way back is a lift pump (looks like a gas fuel filter with 2 wires), start there. Key on- key off a good 15-20X, all the while make sure you have a good charge on battery. And you have checked ALL of your fuses?Walk to the gas station and fill the red container with diesel gas. Then walk back and fill the truck up. Hope this helps or cyphon someones diesel truck to your truck.
Some you have to bleed at the injector box inlet while someone else cranks it over when you run out of fuel to get it going again.
