Is this the sign of an exhaust leak?

-When I turned on the car, white smoke seemed to spread out from under the car.



There isn't any extra noise as if the muffler were to be damaged.



When I turn, I smell exhaust fumes (though this may be due to my sensitive sense of smell)Unlikely, since any exhaust leak would also be noisy.

More likely you have an oil or maybe a water leak.

Exhaust is nearly odorless.

Oil fumes are very smelly.

Next time, open the hood before you start it, and watch more carefully.
