-my car stall in the bad weather and my brother inlaw pull me out with his truck, it didn't want to start after that, so the next morning it started i didn't move it, i look at the dip stick and it was milky looking, i just had my oil change 4 days ago so i was told that i have water in the oil, please i'm looking for answer, could my car be saved answer asap 2004 cheovlet impalaIf your car was running fine before stalling in the puddle, I'd at least attempt an oil change (again) and see how well it runs. The engine could have gulped in enough water to foul the oil. If it turns milky again, quickly or over time, then yes, you probably need some engine / head work, but if it doesn't, then the few bucks on the 2nd oil change were worth the try!
Don't fool around doing this. Water inside a crankcase is bad news, very quickly. In fact get some highway time on it, if it's up to it, as soon as you can after the oil change.Water in your oil = Blown Head Gasket. The only thing you can do is pay to get your engine rebuilt. (head gaskets are expensive), Get a engine swap w/ a used engine or buy a new car. A blown head gasket mean that your coolant is mixing with the oil in your engine. You will notice poor performance. Over time your car will stop running. Depending on how bad the issue is you can try head gasket repair solution from an autoparts store, but this will be a temp fix.
